First Note Presents: Summer Sessions feat. Nelson Cade III

A BMI Recording Artist & Singer-Songwriter, Nelson Cade III first rose to national success when his appearances on “The Voice” beamed his talents into households across the nation. It was on Season 18 of NBC's “The Voice” turned all four chairs with his version of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Pride and Joy”. He went on to make it to the Top 20 on John Legend’s team. One of Blake Shelton’s remarks encapsulates Nelson's style perfectly: “He can run the gamut from Lead Belly (Blues) to ZZ Top (Rock)!” Through all of Nelson’s success as an artist, some of his highlights include having jammed with Stevie Wonder, completing two nationwide tours, having written for Mary J.
